Length Graders
As part of our range of Agri-food Process equipment, Facet Engineering also supply length graders. Length Graders form part of our range used for the sorting and grading of a variety of grains. Length Graders are used to sort grains by length. The particular model that we supply is suited for smaller process plants.
HOW A LENGTH GRADER WORK
Length graders operate using a system of cylinders. These cylinders serve to separate the grains by length. Broken and shorter grains pass through the system and are separated, collected and removed into a separate container. The machine is capable of high product yield with relatively low power requirements, making it a cost-effective and efficient method of grain sorting.
